Job 22:5-12 | Note: Eliphaz’s accusation is clearly answered by Job point by point in Job 29.

Job 22:10 | “sudden fear” – Prov. 3:25, Ps. 27:1-2, 46:1-3; This glorious estate of confidence in God directly contrasts the delayed but sudden break-out of destruction that is promised disrupt the prosperity of the Wicked.

Eliphaz is directly warning Job about a personal watery deluge (Job 22:11). Rightly so, Eliphaz believes that God will personally execute judgment upon individuals in the same way He did it corporately when the backslidden Sons of God forsook the LORD and joined the world (Job 22:15-17), and of course it’s all for the restoration of Church Purity.
